On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, the Tunisian capital hosted a meeting of the security working group, which included representatives of the UN mission, Western countries, and military leaders from Libya.
This meeting comes after a sharp controversy and confrontation on the part of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State towards Batili’s recent initiative aimed at establishing a “high-level committee for elections”. What prompted the latter to take measures that can be described as regression.
